As an editorial for this first issue of WE SHAKEARS, the weekend edition
Let the Ashes Fly
We don’t know where the wind will carry them. That’s what we told ourselves on that sad day when our previous webzine venture came to an end, after eight years of doing what we loved most in the world: listening to music and connecting with others around that passion, through various media. We needed to find a new spark to reignite the flame, and it would take time.
It turned out to be a wise decision, for SHAKEARS Magazine was born right out of that ashen soil, bringing with it new perspectives.
Among the cornerstones of our mission are promoting works and their creators, supporting independent players—such as record stores and live music venues—as well as fostering cultural exchange, discovering different perspectives, and embracing the richness that emerges from our shared passion for music and the arts, without borders or preconceptions.
SHAKEARS aims to bring this community together—through its editorial team of enthusiasts and its readership of fellow enthusiasts. Will you be part of it?
