Tash Sultana Is Making a Comeback
After some health issues, Tash Sultana, an Australian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, announces her return (signed to BMG) with the single “Something in the Water,” co-written with the band L.A.B. While it may not be particularly surprising in terms of format or sound, this single offers hope for a strong comeback from the young artist with an album set to be released in the coming months, an album she will no doubt promote during her upcoming tour, which will start with relatively intimate shows in her home country before going international, including at least one date in France on March 29 at the Adidas Arena.
This new track captures her signature sound, inspired by jungle, reggae, and electronic music, her sense of groove that turns her otherwise unclassifiable tracks into little pop gems, and that signature sound quality.
