Clutch, the American stoner rock band, has announced its fourteenth album, Wasted Lands (now available for pre-order), set for release on January 22, 2027, along with the music video for the title track, accompanied by a second track (an old-school B-side!): “The Drifter Returns.”
Centered around a monster story “that even Stephen King and H.P. Lovecraft would have been unable to imagine,” Neil Fallon’s band delivers rock that’s as powerful and rhythmic as ever, raising hopes for a major comeback under the guidance of producer Gene Freeman, who was behind the Maryland band’s excellent 2015 album, Psychic Warfare.
